Since the posting of the tentative non-map APR standards, we have noticed that some districts are continuing to make corrections directly to the Core Data screens. Please remember that changes made to 2008 and 2009 attendance and graduation rate data and changes made to 2009 advanced courses, career education courses, college placement, and career education placement MUST be made through the MOSIS student level data collection system and NOT directly to the Core Data collection system screens.
If changes for these years are made manually on the Core Data screens, your district’s MOSIS student level data will overwrite them and your APR will revert to displaying incorrect data.

Two Common Concerns with April:
1. 'HS Career Ed field is required for grades 9-12' is appearing in your trial as a warning, this is not a required field for April and you may ignore the warning and certify as long as you have 0 errors.
2. You may include all of your students in the April Cycle file, this is not a problem for us--we will only pull out the data we need. |
