2014 Outstanding Citzienship Award
Fifteen public high school students were honored by the State Board of Education and the Missouri Bar Association as recipients of the 2014 Outstanding Achievement in Citizenship Award. The students were recognized at an awards luncheon on April 14th.

STEM the Gap Teacher Challenge
The Center for Science of Teaching and Learning (CSTL) and Dow have come together to support STEM education in our schools by creating the “Stem the Gap Teacher Challenge”. STEM education is absolutely vital for our children and our future. Teachers of all fields are invited to submit their ideas for increasing STEM education in the classroom. The top 25 entries will earn a $1,000 grant to be used in the classroom! The deadline for all submissions is May 16.

ConnectED Learning to Host Training
ConnectEd Learning will host a free professional learning session for those interested in K-12 education on June 18th at Mehlville High School in St. Louis. The event will feature a day of conversation, reflection and inspiration related to improving education and communication within schools. The event is free and is open to school administrators, board members, teachers, parents and community members.
