Video Web Streaming
Another great way of ensuring that your video is easily accessible to your customers is by having us “stream” your video to the web. After your video is streamed, it can be viewed from any desktop computer that has internet access. Examples of how streaming works can be seen throughout this website. The cost for video streaming is $80/hour, and with an average 15-minute set-up time, the streaming takes only as long as the video actually is. Therefore, the charge for streaming a 30-minute long video would be about $60.00. The video is stored on our server and can be accessed on demand for up to one year with no additional charges.
C-Band Uplink Station
The Missouri Lottery has the only (digital/analog) C-band earth station available in mid-Missouri. The uplink provides a very cost-effective means for all of our clients to communicate with their audiences. The cost of using the uplink includes transmission, equipment use, technical staff and satellite channel time.
The primary user of the satellite uplink is the Missouri Lottery. The Lottery uplinks its Drawing Show seven days a week from our facility. The Lottery also uses the satellite to uplink video news releases (VNRs) to television stations across Missouri. Uses of the satellite uplink include:
-
Uplink teleconferences live and invite questions from the audience;
-
Uplink commercial news/sports for networks or stations (through the Missouri Lottery);
-
Pre-tape a meeting or presentation; edit, then uplink the final version;
-
Pre-produced video segments to augment live studio presentations;
-
Uplink a series of teleconferences (live or taped), to meet continuing education, professional certification, or higher education credit needs;
-
Broadcast taped interviews from the Capitol Building or local area;
-
Broadcast live interviews from the our studio;
- KU to C-band turn around;
-
Tape playback on Betacam-SP, 3/4" (U-Matic), DVCAM, MiniDV, DVD or DVCPRO formats.
