Effectiveness Index Formula (EIF)
– IForm Open for Completion
The EIF is an incentive-based funding system comprised of two components: placement and enrollment. The main goal of the EIF is to reward approved secondary career education programs that achieve success in the positive placement of program completers.
The EIF defines a completer as a student who earns three or more units of credit in approved secondary career and technical education programs (within a “sequence of courses”) and graduates. Each area career center and comprehensive high school will need to fill out the EIF IForm.
NOTICE: The I-Form submission date has been extended to 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 11. To complete the form, click on the IForm link below:
Each area career center and comprehensive high school will utilize the 180 day follow-up results for students who completed approved secondary career and technical education programs. However, only students completing three or more units of credit are to be included in this follow-up count. The area career centers and comprehensive high schools must enter the total number of completers and the number of completers that were positively placed in each of the three categories. The placement counts that are entered will be based on graduates of the 2006-2007 school year.
