Business instruction is organized to prepare individuals for occupations in administrative office systems, accounting and finance, management, and computer information systems.

Kerns Presents at National Conclave

Leslie Kerns, DESE director of business, marketing and information technology education, shared information about Missouri’s career education mentoring program last week to a national audience of teacher educators, administrators, faculty, and CTSO advisors. The annual Conclave and Professional Conference was held June 21-24 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and features innovative program ideas, focused dialogue sessions, and more. Kerns described how Missouri’s program is conducted, as well as its measurable impact with new and experienced teachers. The conclave is operated by 40 state education departments.
