The Crystal Catalyst Award

Shelli Ray
Blue Springs South High School
The Missouri DECA Crystal Catalyst Award is presented each year at the State Career Development Conference to one Advisor who has shown initiative in providing innovation, encouragement and enthusiasm in a manner that benefits the entire Missouri DECA Association. This year’s recipient is Shelli Ray from Blue Springs South High School.
As stated by her nominator, Kelly Fowler, “Shelli makes sure things run smootly and goes above and beyond what is asked. I know she puts in numerous extra housrs of work outside a school day. She is real and truly genuine and wants what is best for all our DECA members."
The Diamond Awards
Eleven Missouri DECA chapter advisors were recognized by their colleagues with the Diamond Award at the State Career Development Conference. Given annually, the Diamond Award recognizes chapter advisors who make outstanding contributions to their respective DECA District as determined by their colleagues. Congratulations to this year’s recipients
Each of these DECA advisors has individually made unique contributions to his or her DECA District that resulted directly in quality services for students. Their commitment to the profession, the DECA organization, and student achievement should be commended.
