Perkins IV Five-Year State Plan Approved

The U.S. Department of Education announced Tuesday approval of Missouri’s five-year state plan for implementation of the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act.

New Icons Represent Missouri's Six Career Paths

Missouri Career Education recently updated its six Career Path icons.  Career Paths are a good starting point for career exploration, then segue to the 16 Career Clusters.

Missouri TSA Leader Receives National Honor

Missouri TSA Chapter Advisor W. Doug Miller was recognized June 30 by the National Technology Student Association.  Miller was selected to receive the Goodheart-Willcox State Advisor of the Year Award.  It will be presented during TSA's annual conference ceremonies in Orlando, Florida.  Miller has 10 years of service with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Division of Career Education.  He is the Technology Education supervisor and serves as state advisor for the Missouri Chapter of the Technology Student Association.
