WHEREAS, Technology Education and the Technology Student Association (TSA) today play an increasingly important role in preparing students for life and work in our constantly changing world; and WHEREAS, the Technology Student Association is an integral component of any Technology Education program providing students opportunities to explore career and higher education opportunities as they prepare for their future; and WHEREAS, the mission of the Technology Student Association is to promote leadership and personal growth for its members in a technological society; and WHEREAS, the Technology Student Association is supported by educators, parents, and industry leaders who believe in the need for a technologically literate society. NOW, THEREFORE, I, MATT BLUNT, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI, do hereby proclaim the week of April 23-27, 2007 as TECHNOLOGY STUDENT ASSOCIATION WEEK IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Great Seal of the State of Missouri, in the City of Jefferson, this 14th day of February, 2007.
