NCLB Consolidated App. Due July 1. The 2009-10 No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Consolidated Application is now available on the electronic Planning and electronic Grants System (ePeGS). The deadline for submitting this application is July 1. To facilitate submission of the application on ePeGS, DESE staff will offer training sessions June 23-24 in Jefferson City.
May 19, 2009: Memo to Administrators - changes to End-of-Course assessments regarding the number of mandatory assessments required of each student for which districts will be held accountable.
The Summer School Information submitted in the past on Core Data Screen 24 may now be submitted through MOSIS. Although the data can still be entered onto the screen, we encourage you to upload it to MOSIS. There are two files for MOSIS, the Course Assignment and Student Assignment. You have the option of just completing the Course Assignment file and including an enrollment number in the ‘caseload’ field or complete the Student Assignment file too, including the individual students. If needed you may enter the data into the Summer Course Assignment/Student Assignment Excel Templates which can be found at http://dese.mo.gov/MOSIS/FileLayout.html under the June 08-09 Summer Course/Student Assignment links. Once this file is certified the data will populate Screen 24. As a reminder, every student participating in Summer School will need a MOSIS ID.
Summer School Planning. If your district is planning summer school in 2009, the resources you need (application, handbook, checklist) are now available online. Applications are due June 1.
