We have been receiving a number of questions about the application of Academic Competitiveness Grants (ACG) to student's tuition and fees.
The A+ Program requires that students apply for all federal non-repayable aid prior to receiving the A+ financial incentive. The ACG is part of the PELL grant and should be applied to the tuition and fees just as the traditional PELL Grant is currently.
High School A+ Coordinators:
Please be sure to review all of the literature that you provide to both students and parents so that the information about ACG and its impact on the A+ financial incentive is made available to them.
