Share writing with peers and parents at an Author’s Celebration, where speaking and listening skills are applied.

Author’s Celebration Checklist provided, covering the components of the oral presentation using the appropriate media.

Since an Author’s Celebration may take extra time, plan accordingly

 

1.        Allow each author to present , and be recorded,  during the celebration.

 

Idea

As an extension idea show the taped presentations to another class and see if they are able to follow the directions and complete a project.
