Using your knowledge of radio plays and today’s culture, create your own scary radio play and perform it before the class.

 

4 points                 

§         Play is logical and well-organized

§         Play makes highly effective use of text elements

§         Play effectively contains appropriate cultural elements of a scary play

§         Play is presented in three to five minutes

§         Speakers effectively create sound effects to enhance the meaning of the play

§         Speakers use rate, volume or articulation effectively in the radio play

§         Speakers give complete and thorough responses to teacher questioning

 

3 points

§         Play is logical and well-organized

§         Play makes effective use of text elements

§         Play contains some cultural elements of a scary play

§         Play contains irrelevant information and/or is outside the time limits

§         Speakers make attempt to incorporate sound effects in the radio play

§         Speakers do not use rate, volume, or articulation effectively in the radio play

§         Speakers give correct but terse responses to teacher questioning

§         Play has somewhat logical appeal and some organization

§         Play makes some use of text elements

§         Play contains some cultural elements of a scary play

§         Play contains irrelevant information and is outside the time limits

§         Speakers make attempt to incorporate sound effects in the radio play

§         Speakers do not use rate, volume, or articulation effectively in the radio play

§         Speakers give correct but terse responses to teacher questioning

§         Play is illogical and /or lacks organization

§         Play makes little use of audience appeal, logic reasonableness, and adequacy of evidence

§         Play contains few cultural elements of a scary play

§         Play contains irrelevant information and  is outside the time limits

§         Speakers make little attempt to incorporate sound effects in the radio play

§         Speakers do not use rate, volume, or articulation effectively in the radio play

§         Speakers give incorrect or misleading responses to teacher questioning.
