FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT

Students will write their own Lewis and Clark nonfiction book using text features. 

Scoring Guide:

3 points- Includes an appropriate title, table of contents, chapters, glossary, and at least one map, graph, chart, or illustration with caption.

2 points- Includes appropriate text features required with an omission or two.

1 point- Include some appropriate text features with many omissions.

0 point- Incomplete or nearly incomplete.
