Lesson Two Formative Assessment

Students will write a paragraph in which they analyze problem/solution and characterization.

Choose one of the following prompts.  Answer the problem/solution frame questions and narrative frame questions as appropriate then write a paragraph:

1. Choose one problem faced by a character in Night and evaluate the effectiveness of the solution using details and/or examples from the text as support.

2. Choose one character from Night and analyze how his personality traits contribute to the problem/solution using details from the text as support.
