Parent Letter for Book Trade Day

Dear Parents,

        We are having a Book Trade Day to help reinforce the economic concept of bartering.  This activity will help the students understand that bartering means trading without money.

        The students will need to bring a book from home that they have read and no longer want.  They will use this book to trade for another book.  The students need to know the trade is for keeps.

        The students need to bring their books to trade to school by ___________________________.
