Under the Influence: Language Fluency to Understand Propaganda UNDER THE INFLUENCE: LANGUAGE FLUENCY TO UNDERSTAND PROPAGANDA
Unit Plan: Lessons Each session represents one 50-minute class period. The entire unit should take about 10 days.
Summative Assessment and Scoring Guides: The summative assessment(s) includes: 1. student performance event (creation and presentation of a commercial demonstrating fluency and using one or more propaganda techniques), 2. the teacher observation of listening behavior, and 3. a student written paragraph evaluating the success of a propaganda technique and justifying individual listening enjoyment of a peer commercial.
