Poetry Out Loud National Finals and Semifinals Webcast

Friends, family, classmates, and others can watch the Poetry Out Loud National Finals without hopping on a plane! Both the semifinals (all 53 competitors) and the national finals (the top 9) will be webcast live as they happen on Thursday, April 28, 9am-8pm, and Friday, April 29, 7-9pm. Be sure to tune in during your semifinal! This is a one-time-only webcast, and will not be available for viewing after the event.


Poetry Out Loud National Recitation Contest

Poetry Out Loud is a national recitation contest open to all high school students and conducted in all 50 states by the National Endowment for the Arts. Last year over 8,000 students and 268 teachers from Missouri schools participated. The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Educa-tion and the Missouri Arts Council have partnered to bring this program to Missouri.
