DESE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES ON CORE ACADEMIC STANDARDS
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is offering an
opportunity for district personnel who are responsible for district mathematics curriculum and/or staff development to participate
in a Professional Learning Series beginning this summer:
Presented by DESE Mathematics Consultant, Cindy Bryant, the series will focus on the shifts and implications for mathematics curriculum, instruction and assessment with the implementation of the Missouri new core academic standards.
Math and Science Initiatives for Educators and Students
The ExxonMobil Foundation, the primary philanthropic arm of the Exxon Mobil Corporation in the United States, provides support for math and science opportunities for educators and students. Information about specific programs, such as the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy and the Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp for middle school students can be found at the link below.
