Welcome MOVIP District Site Facilitators
As the popularity of the virtual instruction program continues to grow, it is imperative that communication between the local school districts and the MOVIP office staff is kept fluent.
When a student enrolls or withdrawals from a MOVIP course it is important that someone at the district be contacted. DESE has set up a system to ensure that this occurs. It is very important that each district select a MOVIP site facilitator. If you are unsure of this roll don't hesitate to call and ask questions. DESE uses core data to house this contact information. Please be sure appropriate contact information is entered into core data, screen 3. If this area is left blank, your district can not be notified of students who have enrolled or withdrawn from MOVIP courses.
All site facilitators have the opportunity to view active MOVIP students enrolled in your district using SIS. SIS also displays the progress of public school students in MOVIP courses. Official MOVIP transcripts can also be downloaded from this system. For more information, contact Jamie at 573-526-4219.
