SUBJECT: REMINDER FY11 FER Due September 30, 2011

The Final Expenditure Report (FER) is due September 30, 2011. There will be no FER revisions unless there is an audit/monitoring finding. As in the past, the FER should include obligations/expenditures from July 1 through June 30. The exceptions to the June 30th date are obligations/expenditures from July 1 to September 30 (i.e. summer school, professional development, etc.) for the programs with FY09 funds that will expire September 30, 2011 (ARRA, Title II.D and Title IV.A). All funds expended under these programs must be liquidated this year and cannot be budgeted in the 2011-2012 program year.
Please be sure your FER accounts for all ARRA, Title II.D and Title IV.A funds. Remaining non-ARRA funds from the FY11 grant may be carried over and expended in 2011-2012.
