SUBJECT: MELL Conference 2010
LISTSERVE MESSAGE DATE: August 26, 2010
Conference information and registration is now available for the 2010 Missouri Migrant Education and English Language Learning Conference being held this year at the Hilton Frontenac in the St. Louis area November 17-19.
Go to www.mo-mell.org for conference and hotel information and to register for the conference.
The MELL Program, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Regional Professional Development Centers, has annually attracted 300 to 400 Missouri educators and administrators interested in helping our state's English language learners succeed in the classroom and life.
The 2010 conference features nationally known experts and highly successful ESL practitioners bringing conference participants the tools they need to serve Missouri's more than 20,000 English language learners, migrants, immigrants and refugees.
A special highlight for the 2010 conference will be the participation of the WIDA Consortium with information that all will want to hear about the ACCESS for ELLs assessment districts are required to administer this school year.
We invite both new and returning participants to join us for the preconference or site visits to the St. Louis International School on November 17, and to take full advantage of our annual conference.
