SUBJECT:  2013 NCLB Consolidated Application Workshops

The Federal Compliance Section will be hosting several Technical Assistance Workshops around the state.  The objective of these workshops is to provide assistance and guidance about the NCLB Budget and required Plans and to allow LEAs to input budget information into the NCLB consolidated application with Federal Compliance Supervisors on site to help.  LEAs will need to bring information needed to be able to confirm Membership and Free and Reduced lunch counts on Step 1 of the BOA as well as bringing information they need to enter budget amounts, FTE’s and student counts.  LEAs may bring multiple people to assist in entering the budget information; however, there will only be one computer available per LEA so we can accommodate as many LEAs as possible.  St. Louis Attendees must bring their own electronic devices with wireless connectivity and connect to the wireless network.

Please see the following list of dates and times for the workshops:

                                  Licking (9:00-12:00)

                                  Sikeston (8:00-12:00)

                                  School of the Osage (9:00-12:00)

                                  Potosi (10:00-1:00)

                                  Hannibal (9:00-12:00)

                                  Raytown (9:00-12:00 and 1:00-4:00)

                                  Kirksville (9:00-12:00)

                                  Logan-Rogersville (9:00-12:00)

Nonpublic consultation forms and Supplement not Supplant (SNS) worksheets can be found at  Remember the SNS worksheet is for district level information.

There will be a presentation at the start of the workshop and then LEAs will be invited to work on their application online.  We will have at least 2 Federal Compliance Supervisors there to assist anyone with questions about the application.  We will have an electronic copy of the PowerPoint we are going to use for the workshop available no later than May 24th.  We will not bring any paper copies of the PowerPoint so if you would like to take notes with the PowerPoint, please make copies and bring them with you or download an electronic copy on your laptop and bring it.  Please confirm which workshop you plan on attending by submitting an email to no later than Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

If you have questions about the workshop or the information being presented, please contact your Federal Compliance Supervisor.  If you have questions about the workshop site or directions to the site, please contact the contact person listed below for each site.
