Subject: Contacts for Federal Programs in Core Data System

In an effort to coordinate data collection in the Department, the ePeGS (electronic Plans electronic Grants System) uses contact data submitted on Screen 03 of the Core Data Collection System. Our Federal Program staff use the emails listed on Core Data to contact LEAs regarding approval of the NCLB Consolidated Application. In many instances, these emails are no longer accurate. The positions that relate to Federal Programs are: ELL, Federal Programs, Homeless, and Migrant contacts. Please have your Core Data Coordinator update the contact information on Screen 03 for the 2009-2010 school year August Cycle of the Core Data Collection System as soon as possible.
In addition, all Federal Program contacts should be subscribed to the Federal Programs ListServ. We use this ListServ to keep district personnel updated on various NCLB federal program issues. To subscribe, go to the Federal Program website http://www.dese.mo.gov/divimprove/fedprog/ choose Federal Programs ListServ shown on right hand side of the page, and type in your email address.
