Due to circumstances beyond our control, we must cancel the Tuesday, September 2 session in Kansas City and the Thursday, September 4 session in Springfield . We are sorry for any inconvenience these cancellations have caused. We hope to reschedule the sessions in the near future. The first available meeting will now be Monday, September 8 at the Federal Programs Conference in Tan-Tar-A. The two other sessions at Cape Girardeau and St. Louis are still available. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ TO: Districts receiving Migrant or Title III funds FROM: Randy Rook, Director, Federal Grants Management DATE: August 26, 2008 In recent months, Missouri’s Title III and Migrant programs have been monitored by representatives of the US Department of Education’s Office of Migrant Education and the Title III office. In response to those visits and other program needs, DESE will offer a series of meetings designed to clarify the current program requirements and outline upcoming program changes. As a condition of receiving funds from the Title I Part C and the Title III programs, participating district personnel must attend one of the upcoming meetings.
