Early bird registration for the 2008 Missouri Deaf Educators' Conference ends on April 1, 2008.  This year's conference "Language Development and Literacy," will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia, Missouri on Friday evening and Saturday, April 25 and 26, 2008. 

Keynote speakers include Dr. Larry Siegel - National Deaf Education Project, Dr. Gina Oliver - Gallaudet University, Gaylen Pugh - National Association of State Directors of Special Education, and Dr. John Heskett - MO Department of Mental Health.  Breakout sessions offer a full spectrum of training opportunities.

Last year's participants and school districts currently serving students who are deaf/hard of hearing have received mailings on the conference.
