During the October webstream, I neglected to cover the use of oral accommodations when administering the MAP.

As you know, the IEP team determines the accommodations needed and can decide on the oral accommodation; however, use of this when reading ability is being tested will invalidate the score and, therefore, should be discouraged. It is important to document that the IEP team is aware of this consequence.
