NEW! Deaf/HOH/FREE Online Courses on Teaching Reading to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

"Introduction to Reading and Deafness" and "Phonemic Awareness, Phonics and Fluency for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students", the first two courses in a three course series on Teaching Reading to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students are now available and are being provided FREE of charge.

NEW! Reminder Cochlear Implants/Free Consultation Services to School Districts

We have contracted with Missouri State University (MSU), Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, through the Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic for limited free consultation services to help school districts as they meet the needs of students who have cochlear implants.

I am happy to report that the on-line Missouri Deaf Educator Community of Practice (CoP), developed by Missouri State University under contract with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, is now available to connect professionals serving preK-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing in Missouri with peer support and resources.
