Subject: State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report

When states filed their FFY06 State Performance Plan (SPP) with the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) on February 1, 2008, they were informed that OSEP would be providing a status report of OSEP’s review of the SPP and allowing states an opportunity to respond to the status report before final determinations were made by OSEP based upon the results of the SPP. 

On April 7, 2008, OSEP provided all states with their preliminary review and allowed states one week to respond.  Missouri reviewed OSEP’s status report and submitted a response on April 14, 2008.  As a result of the response, the SPP originally submitted on February 1, 2008, has been revised for Indicator 3 on page 12.  No changes were made to the Annual Performance Report (APR) submitted on February 1.  These documents are posted at http://dese.mo.gov/divspeced/DataCoord/ (under Data Reports – Part C).
