DESE has posted a position paper on Infant Mental Health approaches developed by the IDEA Infant and Toddler Coordinators Association that identifies specific examples that can be promoted through IDEA Part C services and activities to promote healthy social and emotional development, prevent/intervene to support healthy parent/caregiver-child relationships, and treat to support improved parent/caregiver-child relationships.
