This message is to update you on recent staff changes in the DESE Compliance Section.  Theresa Villmer, Assistant Director, accepted a position with an Early Reading First Grant program, and leaves the Department effective November 27.  Therefore, we wanted to let you and your employees know that we will be posting the vacancy for that position on our web site in addition to the supervisory position that is now posted under Job Order # 6229152. The DESE web site for employment opportunities can be found at http://dese.mo.gov/divadm/humanres/vacancies2.html.  If you know of individuals who may be qualified and interested in the position, please pass this information along to them.

While we are without these two staff members, please direct your questions that you would normally have directed to us in the Compliance Section to your Regional First Steps Consultant.  The Consultant will answer your question or refer that question to the appropriate person at DESE in order to respond to your request.
