National Provider Identifier (NPI) Enrollment
School district and individual therapists must both enroll for a National Provider Identifier (NPI). Therapists who only have a DESE Teacher Certification in Speech and Language and no state license will be assigned a pseudo-NPI by Medicaid. They do not complete the instructions below. NPI's must be submitted to Medicaid by April 1, 2007.
