The National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance has released a new What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) practice guide, "Assisting Students Struggling with Mathematics: Response to Intervention (RtI) for Elementary and Middle Schools." The eight recommendations provided by this guide are designed to help teachers, principals, and other school administrators use Response to Intervention for the early detection, prevention, and support of students who need assistance in mathematics.
