MISSOURI STATE PLAN FOR SPECIAL EDUCATION-
REGULATIONS IMPLEMENTING PART B OF THE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES EDUCATION ACT (IDEA)
Proposed 2007 Changes
The Division of Special Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, is proposing the following changes to the state regulations implementing Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The proposed changes are also available for inspection in the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Division of Special Education, Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, 205 Jefferson, Jefferson City, MO 65102 during regular office hours.
Deletions appear in red text, and additions appear in blue text.
Three (3) public hearings will be conducted on the proposed changes during February 2007. Information regarding the dates, times, and locations for the public hearings are listed on the Division website at this link (pdf) or can be obtained by calling the Office of the Coordinator of Special Education Services at 573-526-7605.
