Missouri Applicant Fingerprint Services (MOAPPS)

To better serve applicants, agencies, and employers, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Criminal Records and Identification Division (CRID), has partnered with Integrated Biometric Technology (IBT) to provided a new option in applicant processing.  Processing centers are being established throughout the state to take applicant fingerprints and identifying information for electronic submission to CRID for processing.  All processing will be performed by CRID personnel; no criminal history information will be available to IBT.
 
 

 Options for Fingerprint Submittal

Electronic Submission:

Each applicant may schedule an appointment with IBT by calling their toll-free number, 866-522-7067, or online.  The applicant must provide the following information when contacting IBT:
 
  • County/District code number of the hiring school district, if the applicant is not employed use code number 999999.

  • The applicant must indicate if they are a certified educator (E); non-certified employee (U);
    substitute teacher (S), or bus driver (B); and
  • DESE's ORI number, which is MO920320Z.

Processing fee is $52.20.

Notification of the results will be sent to DESE from CRID, the total processing time is approximately 14 days.
