Initial Principal Certification
You need to complete an Application for Building Level Administrator's Certificate of License to Teach (pdf). This application must also be completed by the designated certification official where you completed your educational administrative program.
Missouri requires that all applicants for an Administrative Certificate have a baccalaureate degree from a state-approved teacher preparation program and a recommendation from the designated certification official. Therefore, applicants who do not hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate must also complete an Application for Missouri Teacher's Certificate for non-Missouri Graduates (pdf).
