21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Call for Reviewers

The Office of Early and Extended Learning is accepting applications for readers to evaluate the competitive 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant. 

21st Century Community Learning Center (CCLC) Application/Invitation for Bid (IFB) Competition

The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Extended Learning/Afterschool Programs Section has issued the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) 2012-2013 Invitation for Bid (for Private Schools/Organizations) and Application (for Public Schools).  The deadline for submitting the grant IFB/Application is 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 29, 2012.

A Pre-Application/IFB conference regarding this Application will be held on May 17, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in room 450 of the Governor Office Building (GOB) located at 200 Madison Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101. Attendance is not required.

Potential applicants/Applications may send an “Intent to Apply” for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant competition by Friday, May 25, 2012.  This will help the DESE adequately plan for grant readers in order to have the Applications/IFB’s reviewed in a timely manner.  It is not required to submit an “Intent to Apply” in order to submit an Application/IFB.

Please note:  The 21st CCLC program is currently operating under the FY2012 appropriations passed by Congress and they are currently working on FY2013.  Although not formalized, the 21st CCLC afterschool programs are included in the current language of the revised Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).  Any awards that may be made under the current federal 21st CCLC program are subject to any state and/or federal legislation, regulations, and/or availability of funding.
