Team of Maysville High School Students
Wins State "LifeSmarts" Competition
A team of students from Maysville High School won the 2006 Missouri LifeSmarts State Competition March 1 in Jefferson City.
LifeSmarts is a consumer education program of the National Consumers League. The "quiz bowl" competition tests teens in grades 9-12 about personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology and consumer rights and responsibilities.
Team members from Maysville High School will represent Missouri at the national LifeSmarts competition April 22-25 in Philadelphia.
Teens from across Missouri first competed online to qualify for the state finals. The other state finalists were:
