The State Board of Education approved higher standards for public schools at its December 2011 board meeting.
Regional Advisory Committee Meetings Provide Input to Accountability System Design
A second round of regional meetings was held in five locations on Oct. 24 and 25, 2011: Kansas City, Poplar Bluff, Springfield, St. Louis and Moberly. Nearly 150 individuals participated in the public meetings to discuss various ways to measure district progress toward achieving the MSIP standards of performance.
