The GCEH dba Missouri Interagency Council on Homelessness will be hosting its annual Homelessness Awareness Day event. Each year, as part of this event, we hold an annual Poster Contest. Missouri’s Homelessness Awareness Event--Theme: “Missouri: Opening Doors to our Communities” Thursday, November 17, 2011, 1st Floor Rotunda, State Capitol Building, Jefferson City, MO 65101 Every poster submitted by the children will be on display in the 1st Floor Rotunda from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Program will begin at 12:00 P.M. Keynote Speaker: Derrith Watchman-Moore, Selected by President Obama to serve as Regional Administrator for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Region VII Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska
