SUBJECT: NE Regional McKinney-Vento Liaison/Coordinators Meeting

The St. Joseph School District will be hosting a McKinney-Vento Liaison/Coordinator meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the St. Joseph School District Administration Building Board Room 2nd floor, 925 Felix, St. Joseph, Missouri. Interested attendees should RSVP to Deb Cook email@example.com When you RSVP, please send any questions you may have about McKinney-Vento and Homeless Children and Youth. We will research your questions and add it to the agenda for our meeting.
During the meeting, we will be reviewing McKinney-Vento guidelines and share with you what the St. Joseph School District does in its McKinney-Vento Program. In addition, Jean West, St. Joseph School District, will be sharing information about Trauma and Homelessness. She will be discussion how the St. Joseph School District is implementing this much needed service in their district. Donna Cash, the State’s McKinney-Vento Coordinator will also be in attendance.
An agenda will be sent out on October 5th. Please feel free to invite others from your district.
