5 CSR 50-340.030 Standards for Missouri School Library Media Centers PURPOSE: The Division of School Improvement in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education provides guidelines for public school districts, media, and school library media centers. (1) The Standards for Missouri School Library Media Centers establish guidelines for a variety of print and nonprint resources needed to support the teaching and learning of staff and students. The standards also recommend facility space and expenditures per pupil to maintain and operate library media centers.
