The first session in the NASDSE Professional Development Series, "Special Education Teacher Evaluation: Issues and Answers," is now available.
This presentation addresses the issues of special education teacher evaluation, including the factors which should be considered such as job responsibilities, time attribution, and student performance. Data from the National Center for Teacher Quality study is presented to give examples of teacher evaluation practices across the nation. The presenters are Tony Bagshaw, Managing Director of Human Capital, Battelle for Kids and Lynn Holdheide, Special Education Research Associate, National Center for Teacher Quality (NCTQ), Vanderbilt University.
