Heart of Missouri RPDC is hosting a workshop on preschool for students with visual impairments on August 9, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at the RPDC, #2 London Hall University of Missouri-Columbia.
This workshop will focus on activities for the blind and visually impaired student in preschool. Topics will include literacy, orientation and mobility, math, concept development, social skills, technology, daily living skills, transition, and self-advocacy. Parking hang tag, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Six hours of professional development will be awarded to each participant. Cost is $65.
