Subject: FY11 Allocations and FY10 Carryover Amounts

The Office of Special Education announced preliminary draft allocations by SELS on June 17, 2010, and posted at:  http://www.dese.mo.gov/divspeced/Finance/.  Please note that these were estimates and will be changing.  Districts will be notified by the end of July through SELS when these amounts are updated and reloaded into ePeGS.  This change will require an amendment to the FY11 Part B Budget Application in ePeGS by the district. 

FY10 carryover amounts for regular Part B, ARRA Part B, and ECSE ARRA are NOT part of the FY11 allocation amounts.  In order for carryover funds to show in the FY11 allocation, the Funds Management staff must first approve the FY10 Part B FER.  Therefore, please proceed by submitting your FY11 applications using your current year allocation, and, once your FY10 Part B FER has been approved, you may then revise your FY11 applications to include carryover funds.
