Districts serving students who are blind, visually impaired, or deaf-blind may be interested in learning more about the Library Media Center Outreach Program offered through Missouri School for the Blind.  The library program allows district professionals to 1) borrow braille and print-braille books for student use, 2) get advice on selecting braille books to borrow for VI students, 3) bring students who read braille to the MSB library to browse and borrow books, and 4) borrow professional materials on working with students with visual impairment.

For additional information about the Library Outreach Program, visit MSB's website at http://www.msb.k12.mo.us/ or contact MSB librarian Mary Dingus at mdingus@msb.k12.mo.us or 314-776-4320 (ext. 3257).
