Subject: New Website Resources Added to Three-Tiered Model/RtI Page

Two new websites have been added to the Department's Three-Tiered Model webpage relating to Response to Intervention (RtI) resources that address the research base for the RtI model:

The first site is an extensive research base listing currently posted on the Kansas MultiTier System of Supports website.  This is an excellent source to learn more about research supporting the various components of the RtI model and the research base that underlies the principles and practices of Multi-Tiered System of Support.

The second site is the Response to Intervention: Research to Practice manuscript published by the National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE).  This manuscript is a compilation of research regarding traditional LD diagnostic practices and RtI.  The authors sought to identify the most important 25 articles for each topic and to provide the specific references for them.  In addition, the most seminal five articles for each topic are annotated to summarize findings in an easily accessible manner.
