FY11 Allocations

The Office of Special Education posted preliminary draft FY11 allocations at:  On July 19, 2010, we announced that districts would be notified by the end of July through SELs when these amounts are updated and reloaded into ePeGS.  Unfortunately, due to an error with the system, we are not able to recalculate and upload the final FY11 allocations into ePeGs at this time.  Payments may be requested using the FY11 estimated allocations.  A SELs message will be sent as soon as final allocations are calculated and uploaded into the system.

Proportionate Share Calculations

We are also currently experiencing an error in the ePeGs system regarding the proportionate share calculations on the FY10 Part B FERs.  Although the proportionate share calculations are not pulling correctly on the Part B FERs, we do not want to further delay the approval of FY10 Part B FERs with proportionate share.  Therefore, we will proceed with the approval of FY10 Part B FERs with proportionate share so districts will be able to budget and access ARRA carryover funds.  We will keep you informed of the correction of this error and provide instruction on amending FY10 Part B FERs and FY11 Part B Budget Applications.
