FOR YOUR INFORMATION

One of the best resources for you to use as you encounter special education questions and concerns is the Office of Special Education webpage at http://dese.mo.gov/divspeced/.  From this page, you may access the Compliance, Effective Practices, Data, and Funds Management webpages.

All of these sites include a wealth of information, including guidance documents, technical assistance bulletins, FAQs, SELs messages, trainings, and reminders of due dates for submissions to our offices.  We have included links to examples of some of these resources at the end of this message.  If you have not had time yet to explore these sites, we would encourage you to do so and become familiar with all that is offered.

We will continue to answer any questions you may have, either by phone or email.  Our goal is to provide you with as many resources as we can to make your jobs easier so you can better serve kids.
