On October 18, 2010, there will be a "hands on" workshop conducted by one of the Blind Skills Specialists on how to make a good tactile graphic for students who are visually impaired. Various methods of producing tactile graphics will be demonstrated. Participants should bring samples of work they wish to make into a tactile graphic. Lunch, snacks, and parking included. The workshop will be held at the University of Missouri - Columbia Campus, Room #7 London Hall, Columbia, MO from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $75 - 6 hours Professional Development.
