After 20 years with the Department, I have decided to resign; my last day of work here at the Department will be November 30.
I have accepted a partnership with the Thomeczek and Brink Law Firm beginning December 1.
I believe I can continue to serve school districts in this state as they work to meet the needs of kids with disabilities.
I am leaving behind wonderful folks in the Office of Special Education, and I know that they will continue to work hard to ensure that school districts have the tools they need to provide appropriate services to kids with disabilities and to focus their energies on improving student performance.
